pez extremadamente raro por su forma aplastada con habitos nocturnos presenta una coloracion variada que se mimetiza en el fondo del acuario.
en el biotipo debera tener cuevas y escondites plantas cualesquiera que acepte las condiciones del agua,siendo un pez que es de habirtos nocturnos es preferible dejar alimento en la noche que caiga al fondo para que este lo tome.
Este es un pes con aspecto prehistorico parece venido de otro planeta se estiende por toda america del sur aqui en el Ecuador tambien lo encontramos en los rios.
